Sports Comments

Thank you to everyone who left messages about what you would like on campus regarding sport and recreation.

Anonymous: I would love to hold more dancing classes, spaces are a huge issue right now but I just emailed a Zumba instructor last week so fingers crossed.
Alexandre: Your comment was short and sweet! next semester when Tertiary Sport WA finishes I am planning a one day sport afternoon with all staff and students. We also have the Student Cup that runs Wednesdays each semester.
Lauren: Your comment was more about watching sport then playing but there is a football in the Student Life Office for students to use at anytime. It is free and you just need a student card! Love the comment about the double shot skinny cappuccinos!
Bronwyn: I think that is a great idea. We have Health Kick which is a group person training session that runs twice a week for 8 weeks during the semester so in summer we can do the classes outside!
Bianca: We have mixed netball that runs every Wednesday night for 10 weeks held on campus, it is on the website, notice boards in ND6, white board outside ND9 and the blog! I have not done marketing before and would love some news ways to catch students' attention.
Sprout: so many dance comments! looks like we should take a vote on what is most popular.

The Above named, come collect your Coffee Vouchers, ND9 Student Life Office

Amir: I am looking at Krav Maga during the day, on campus next semester. Also I know a student who owns a martial arts centre if you want contact details, swing by!
Steve S: Cycling is very popular on campus, it is hard to start a class but if you are keen to get a club going I would love to help. We just started a running club on campus!
Katie: I love the idea of friendly competitions on campus, the Sport Council run the Student Life Cup which is casual sports run during the day, we also have yoga, pilates and health kick (group personal training). If you have any particular ideas, my ears are open!
Caroline: We are onto it, loving the feedback!
Anonymous: read the Steve S comment, this is open to you too if you are keen
Anonymous: Looks like I have answered your question too!
Dandabert: Now we just have to wait for the reply from the instuctor to confirm and Zumba will be on campus!

Thanks to everyone who wrote a comment, I hope my response help but if not you can always leave more comments or email me jmontgomery1@nd.edu.au
