Welcome to Notre Dame Community - Semester 2 Orientation Day

Last Friday 23 July was Orientation Day for all new students enrolled for second semester. All student clubs, including the Student Life and Campus Ministry team were present to welcome over 200 students who attended the festivities on what was a beautiful morning. The day began with Mass in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit, after which morning tea was served to students in Prindiville Hall. Vice Chancellor, Prof. Celia Hammond delivered a welcome address to all students, followed by Student Association President, Amy Rosiario. The formalities were concluded with a prayer led by Campus Chaplain, Fr John Sebastian OMI. New students were then invited to participate in various activities that had been planned especially for them - more morning tea, campus and library tours, talks, student clubs expo - and even a secondhand book sale!

Once again, to all new students: WELCOME TO THE NOTRE DAME COMMUNITY! to all returning students WELCOME BACK - IT'S GREAT TO SEE YOU ALL!

Don't forget to come in and visit the Student Life and Campus Ministry teams in ND 9!!
