Careers News

There are a number of Careers events coming up in the first few weeks of term.  The first event for Careers at UNDA this year is a presentation by Projects Abroad on March 17th in ND4/101 lecture theatre between 12.30 - 1.20pm. If you are thinking of volunteering any time in the future, Projects Abroad provide a variety of opportunities for students and graduates. If you would like to attend please RSVP to fremantle.careers@nd.edu.au by Tuesday 15th  March so that we have some idea of numbers.
The next event will be held on Tuesday 22nd March at the Perth Convention Centre. UNDA joins with AAGE (Australian Association of Graduate Employers) to present “The Big Meet” Careers Fair. A large number of graduate employers are present at this careers fair and students interested in graduate positions in a variety of industries should attend. Check out the website www.aage.com.au When you attend make sure you go prepared – well presented with copies of your resume. Check out the website to find a list of employers who will be present and do some research on the companies to see if you are interested in working with them. Treat each conversation that you have at the careers fair as an interview. If you would like assistance with preparation for this event please contact either Annie or Janine on 94330582 or email fremantle.careers@nd.edu.au
